Treat the following blog as you would a fiction novel. How? Don’t take it for face value and just imagine a world where all this is possible. Enjoy the blog.
Yes. You read that right. I am, indeed, not a programmer. I know, I know… My CV says that I am a programmer. It also mentions all the programming languages I know. I even consistently write blogs in which I address programming or programming related concepts. I have the degree, I code every day, and even my personal projects are almost always code-related.
“Enough with the needless filler introduction and…
I have none actually. I just enjoy putting this at the beginning of my blogs
Now, for those of you who know me. You know two things about me:
But, since I have no supportive friends who read my blogs, I am assuming that most of the people reading this do not know those facts. But, do not fret, all will be explained in good time.
So, recently I have had more time than…
Unicorns are fictional characters that where once created by stories, but continue to live on through job postings
I am back at it again with another sorry excuse for a blog. In my last one, we talked a little about some issues that the software development industry has been facing, and I was able to have many productive conversations as an outcome of the article. So now, it’s time to stimulate another talk.
First off, if you believed in unicorns, I am sorry to burst your bubble, but they don’t exist. So at this point, you have an answer to…
First off, welcome. This is the first part of my mini-blog series and I am extremely excited about writing this whole series, but especially this one. I hope you are as excited to read about it as well.
Like I mentioned in my previous blog, this series will be exploring some new personal truths that I have come to believe in more and more during this time of the pandemic. …
Lately, like most people around the world, I have had some time in isolation. Literally. Physical and mental isolation. But like a good friend of mine once said “Always try to find the silver lining”. So, during this period of the pandemic, I took the time of this quarantine to reflect on my views and perspectives about many things I don’t usually have the chance to reflect on.
There were a lot of good outcomes to this process. All that time has given me the mental headspace and creative energy to be able to take that reflection and turn it…
Disclaimer! I want to start off by saying:
This is, by no means, a definitive way of working as a consultant. Everything I am about to say in this article is subjective and based on my own personal experience.
However, if you see that some of the things I say, or rather some of the experiences I mention, also fit your lifestyle, then, by all means, adopt as much of it as you want. Alright, having put that out of the way, let’s get started.
In my daily life, I always prefer to have a point of reference. I like…
Welcome back to the second volume of Don’t Get Lost In The Sauce! I had some really positive discussions with colleagues and friends about the first volume of this blog series. If you have not read it, I would highly encourage you to go check it out, as it explains the fundamentals on which this blog series is based upon! Now, having said that, let us jump right in.
In a world where there is sometimes too much sauce, not getting lost in it can be very challenging. But let’s talk a little about what that means. Having too much…
HA! I see you… found your way to my blog *BA DUM TS*. Okay, in hindsight, this joke is not going to make sense until I actually explain today’s blog topic. But, if you were successful enough to find the hint in my previous blog, you might have an idea of what I am talking about and the joke was probably… not lost on you *BA DU… ok sorry, last pun, promise. If you did not read my last blog, which you should it’s amazing, or you did not find the hint, this was it:
After all, you don’t want…
One day, I was just talking to my friend, explaining a bunch of things all at the same time, it was a stressful time. After I talked with him for nearly an hour, he looks at me with the goofiest smile ever and says “Hey man, just remember, don’t get lost in the sauce.” Needless to say, I quietly took my bag and left that room with one thought in mind “That man is nuts”. I mean humor me here. I talk to the guy for an hour and his advice is not getting lost in the sauce?!
Anyways, time…
For the last volume of the Back to Basics — Data Structures blog, we talked about Binary Search Trees. Fortunately, we covered a lot of ground in the previous blog, so this one will not be as long as the previous one. Of course, if you need a refresher about some terms that we will be using, refer to the previous volume before continuing with this one. Having said that, welcome to the introduction on Red-Black (RB) Search Trees!
In this blog, we will be talking about what an RB tree is, what it actually looks like, the rules that…
